Megan Campagna, MSW, LISW-S

Administrative Director and Clinical Therapist

Welcome!  My name is Megan and I am an Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) and originally come from Buffalo, New York, where I earned my masters degree in social work from the University at Buffalo.

I have been in the Columbus, Ohio area for 3 years now working at Serenity.  Prior to moving to Ohio, I have worked at the VA hospital working in both homeless case management programs and IOP/day treatment programs primarily working with seriously mentally ill veterans trying to obtain and maintain housing as well as work toward developing coping skills to help decrease overall mental health symptoms.  I also had the privilege of working as both a mental health and substance abuse counselor in community mental health and then program supervisor to child, adult, and MAT programs.  During those times, I worked with mandated domestic violence and anger management groups and facilitated self esteem and dialectical behavior therapy groups.

Currently, within Serenity, I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, relationship stressors, co-parenting struggles, divorce, and other grief issues.  While one intervention does not fit all, I do utilize a variety of skills to help my clients achieve their goals including solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.

Life can be incredibly challenging at times, but what I love most, is helping clients uncover their resiliency and working toward feeling better and living their overall best lives.  In the past, clients have reported that they have appreciated my honesty, genuineness, and consideration.  I look forward to working with you and helping you empower yourself to reach your goals!
