Clinical Therapist - Intern

Hello, my name is Kiera; I am an LSW - Licensed Social Worker. I completed my undergraduate degree at Wright State University and am currently receiving my master's degree at Indiana Wesleyan University. I am joining Serenity Behavioral Health Services as a master's level intern.  

I love working with children and families!  

My background includes working with Montgomery County Children Services and Franklin County Children Services as a Child Welfare Caseworker. I work with Nationwide Children's Hospital as a Medical Social Worker, providing community resources, referrals, and external services to clients and their families. These positions provide me with a unique understanding of issues families face and an ability to find a way forward. 

My goal is to work with children and teenagers who are struggling with their mental health and create coping strategies that will promote their sense of overall well-being, strength, and self-worth.
