Katherine Mullin, MMFT, IMFT-S,  LICDC-CS

Clinical Therapist

I am a strengths-based therapist who focuses on helping you realize your full potential and guiding you on how best to walk your path. I work with older teenagers, adults, couples, and families. I focus on individuals and families struggling with addiction issues as well as chronic illnesses. I believe in empowering people to realize that they have the ability to create change in their lives and that is how I focus my therapy sessions. Everyone has strengths, sometimes it just takes different ways of viewing things to find those strengths.

I utilize interventions from multiple models including, but not limited to, narrative therapy, emotion focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and others. I am independently licensed in both marriage and family therapy and chemical dependency counseling.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University where my major was psychology. I also hold a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Converse College and am currently pursuing my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Medical Family Therapy from Northcentral University.
