Hi there! Taking the first step toward counseling can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are—without feeling like you need to have everything figured out. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, eating concerns, self-esteem struggles, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to help you work toward meaningful change.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ohio University and am currently pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. Before becoming a counseling intern, I worked as a behavioral health specialist supporting individuals with eating disorders. That experience deepened my understanding of the complex connections between body image, self-esteem, emotions, and behavior, while strengthening the empathy and compassion I bring to every client relationship.
I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and adults from all walks of life. I believe everyone has a unique story, and I value taking the time to truly understand each person's experiences. Building a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my approach because I believe meaningful growth begins when you feel safe, heard, and accepted.
My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and authentic. I'll meet you with compassion and respect while also offering thoughtful feedback and gentle honesty to help you gain new perspectives and move toward the life you want to create.
I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. At the same time, I recognize that no two people are alike. Together, we'll identify the approach that best fits your unique needs, strengths, and goals.
I believe counseling is a partnership—an opportunity to slow down, gain insight, and develop practical tools for navigating life's challenges with greater confidence. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.I look forward to being part of your journey.
