Ingrid Benyaminowich, LISW

Clinical Therapist

Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)

I attended Hunter College City University of New York in NYC and graduated with my master's in 2012. I am an independently licensed professional clinical social worker who has been practicing psychotherapy for two years. Prior to that, I  worked in the case management field for more than seven years.

I work primarily with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, adolescents, and adults. I focus on those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem/self-confidence, identity, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship issues, life transitions, ADHD, and trauma.

My approach is to provide strength-based and client-focused support as you navigate through your challenges. I believe that everyone needs to heard and seen regardless of language modality. Through personal and professional experience, I love working in the Deaf community and promote healing. I am fluent in American Sign Language and Norwegian.

I look forward to the privilege of working with you.
