Clinical Therapist

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor primarily specializing in providing therapy to adults and young adults, who are experiencing a variety of needs and challenges including anxiety, depression, anger, relational issues, trauma, life adjustments, and life stressors.  

I completed my undergraduate bachelor's of science degree in Human Development and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University, and I completed my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 
As a therapist, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment to help you in exploring your own strengths, and identifying new coping strategies so that you can feel empowered to overcome life's obstacles. I work collaboratively with you to create attainable and realistic goals to help you to work towards achieving wellness and an improved sense of overall well-being. My counseling approach is holistic, person centered, and empathetic, and I am very committed to the growth and personal development of each individual person that I have the opportunity to work with. 

My primary therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, solutions focused therapy, problem solving skills, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),and Motivational Interviewing techniques. I am here to help you navigate, cope, and effectively manage the unique life challenges that each of us faces so that you can follow your path to wellness.
