Elisa Hair

Clinical Therapist

I am a family counselor trainee working on my master's degree in General Marriage and Family Therapy. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus on Behavioral Analysis. I am a Filipino American therapist that uses knowledge and life experiences to enhance the clients' treatment process. I speak English, Tagalog, and Waray dialects. As a former military wife for many years, I can relate to the challenges that military family experiences.

I also can identify with step-family life, the struggles of shared parenting, and the complexity of managing a blended family and I have experience working with interracial relationships. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds who are dealing with difficult life situations. I love and enjoy helping people and watching them grow. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I utilize a systemic approach, I believe that each individual, couple, and family possess strengths and each person is capable of making a change.

My therapeutic techniques include respecting clients' personal and cultural views, providing support and guidance to assist clients to achieve the healing they need, instilling hope, and creating a compassionate and non-judgmental place to facilitate a positive therapeutic outcome.
