Child, Adolescent, and Adult Counseling

Clinical Therapist Intern

You don’t have to have everything figured out before asking for help. Sometimes, the first step is simply finding someone who will listen without judgment. As a clinical counseling intern, I believe therapy begins with feeling seen, heard, and accepted. I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you can be yourself, explore what you’re experiencing, and move toward meaningful change at your own pace.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, grief, trauma, substance use, and personal growth. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused, incorporating CBT, DBT, and holistic care to support the whole person—not just the challenge bringing you to therapy.

My background includes experience in crisis response, behavioral health, correctional services, and community-based care, as well as graduate coursework in forensic counseling and trauma and crisis counseling. These experiences have strengthened my passion for helping people navigate difficult moments while discovering their resilience, strengths, and hope.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy traveling, exploring different cultures and languages, baking, cooking, and hosting game nights with family and friends. I especially treasure time with my husband, daughter, and our dog.

I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University after earning my bachelor’s degree from Johnson University Florida.

Everyone has a story worth telling—and everyone deserves to feel heard. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
