Child, Adolescent, and Adult Counseling
Rylie Wahl, CT

Clinical Therapist Intern

My mission as a counselor is to help clients locate and access inner resources so that they feel empowered to face life's challenges, no matter what they may have experienced. I believe that with the right space and support, there is nothing we can’t heal from. I strive to help clients develop a more loving and compassionate relationship to themselves and to others.

In addition to English, I speak both Mandarin Chinese and Korean, and I have experience living and traveling abroad. My background of cross-cultural experiences has helped me develop the skills and humility necessary for effective and fruitful communication and connection with individuals of all kinds. I welcome clients of all races, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, and religious/spiritual backgrounds.

I am currently a Counselor Trainee, completing my Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marietta College, where I also earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Asian Studies, with a Minor in Graphic Design and a Certificate in Leadership Studies.

My approach to counseling is person-centered and strengths-based, primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, along with a variety of other techniques and interventions to best meet each individual client's needs.
