Jessica Lewis is a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master Teacher. She currently works in public schools for the BalletMet Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation program, and in corporate offices all over Columbus for Wellness Collective. In addition to special needs and trauma awareness training, she is currently studying for her personal training and IRest yoga nidra certifications. I am a graduate student licensed as a Clinical Therapist CT attaining my degree from Capella University. My aim is to work together with my clients to help them improve their coping skills, resolve underlining trauma and improve relationships. My passion is working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression and trauma and individuals within the LGBTQ community. I am experienced working with individuals struggling with depression and anxiety. Together we can work on coping skills, dialectics, mental reprocessing, and empower you to getting to where you want to be in life.

My goal is to meet my clients where they are and work together to create the change they want to see in their lives. I believe that the best outcomes occur when clients feel heard and empowered. I use an integrative approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Rogerian principles. I also incorporate music and other creative interventions for clients who prefer it.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Ohio University and have worked extensively as a music therapist with adults, elderly populations and individuals receiving hospice care. I am currently working towards my Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health/Rehabilitation Counseling and Music Therapy at Ohio University.

I am a spiritualist who uses my own life experiences to assist others finding their own sense of self-worth, self-love, and an overall awareness of how to apply both empathy and understanding, in a rational and balanced way. I do this by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral therapy concepts and applications, coupled with my knowledge and use of holistic practices such as the Usui and Rainbow Reiki systems, individual, group meditations, and life coaching sessions.
I have a colorful background with carious levels of expertise and knowledge such as 20 years as a percussionist and musician. This also included positions as an audio, sound engineer, soundtrack composer, wielder, and a journalist to name a few. I look forward to utilizing my Life Coaching and Reiki certifications, knowledge of mudras, mantras and various modalities/concepts to help each individual usher in their own path of self-discovery and how to embrace your authentic self.
