I am an Independently Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 16 years of experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults and families. I specialize in working with issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, parenting concerns, relationship/marital concerns, issues related to adoption, and a variety of other issues. While my training has primarily been in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I tend to work with each client individually to determine what the best course of action will be to address the issue they present with.
It is very important to me to provide a warm, empathic, non-judgement space for people to come share their concerns with. I earned my BA in Sociology from Bowling Green State University in 1996 and my Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Kent State University in 2001. I have had the fortune of working in residential settings, office-based settings and community-based settings. Counseling is my true calling and I love sharing the therapeutic experience with my clients.
